Terms of Service

1. What We Do

Designer Teepees provides teepee hire packages for children’s parties. Our service includes the delivery, set-up, styling, and collection of our teepees and accessories at the agreed location, on the date(s) arranged in your booking.

2. What You Need to Do

To help us deliver a safe and smooth setup, you agree to:

• Ensure the room or area is clean, clear, and has a vacuumed or swept floor prior to our arrival.

• Remove any furniture or obstacles from the area where teepees are to be set up.

• Ensure pets and young children are safely out of the setup area during installation and pack down.

• Supervise children around the hire equipment at all times during the hire period.

3. Payment Terms

You agree to pay for the teepee hire service as follows:

• Cash on Delivery: Payment in full is due at the time of delivery and setup.

• EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer): Must be received prior to the event date.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery if payment has not been received.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• You must provide at least 7 days’ notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking.

• If less than 7 days’ notice is provided, you may be liable for a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the hire cost to cover loss of business.

• Rescheduling is subject to availability.

5. Force Majeure Event

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under this agreement due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, extreme weather, transport issues, illness, or government restrictions). If this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or refund where appropriate.

6. Liability

While we take every care to provide a safe experience, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for supervising children and guests during the hire period.

• We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of our equipment or failure to follow safety instructions.

• You are liable for any loss or damage to the hire equipment beyond normal wear and tear.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

Any personal information you provide will be used only to manage your booking and provide our services. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

8. General Terms

• We provide our teepee hire services as an independent contractor, and nothing in this agreement creates a partnership, employment, or joint venture.

• These terms can only be amended by written agreement between both parties.

• This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales (NSW), and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of NSW in the event of a serious dispute.

• If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in full force.

• Even if you do not sign this agreement, by accepting our services you agree to these terms. You may sign this agreement and return it via scanned copy or email.

• This document forms the entire agreement between you and Designer Teepees. Any prior discussions or understandings not included in this document are not binding, unless agreed in writing.
